Mónica F. Carvajal, 1993, Colombia. She is a visual artist, educator, and art director. She graduated from the Beato Angélico School of Visual Arts in Buenos Aires and the Arturo Tejada Cano School of Fashion Design and Marketing in Bogotá.

Her work is figurative in nature, using gazes and symbolic elements—as a play of light and shadow—to trace paths that guide the viewer through a body of work that moves between one’s own madness and that of others.

She tells stories that explore the relationship between what we feel and how we share it, within the realm of everyday life that simultaneously exists in a universe of mystery and revelation.

She has participated in group exhibitions at galleries in Mexico City, Querétaro, and Buenos Aires. In 2023, she was a finalist for the Ibero-American Visual Arts Award in Bogotá. Her work is held in private collections in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Spain.

She completed the Virtual Project Seminar with Selma Guisande, organized by AVCINE Fundación and Sangremal Galería, and regularly attended the studio workshop of Argentine artist Nicolás Menza. She has also worked as an art director on various advertising projects and music videos in Mexico and Argentina.
