Where only they remain portrays three generations of women living on the margins of a grand hacienda in Acambay, Mexico. Chona, Josefina, and Fernanda form a resilient family, abandoned by the men in their lives. Through daily labor and intimate moments, the images explore resilience, silence, inequality, and the enduring strength behind generational progress in Mexico.
